Details and Policies

Thank you for considering Doe Bay for your special event. The following polices are available to download in printable Adobe PDF format for your review.

These policies are provisional and subject to change based on availability, seasonal timing, and other circumstances. Prior to a signed contract, this page is a framework for discussion.

Accommodations: Doe Bay has a variety of accommodation choices to suit the preferences of your guests. A two night stay is required. Our welcoming front desk team will assist you and your guests with selecting the perfect accommodations. Please visit our interactive resort map to explore the options yourself. A deposit for one night’s stay is required at the time of booking. The maximum guest capacity is 200; this includes camping.

We reserve the right to substitute a reserved space for another space in the same or better price category, or cancel any reservation and return a deposit in full if a conflict arises.

Book the Cafe-Buyout Option

The Café Buyout Option allows you to close the Café to the public during normal dinner hours. We can seat up to 63 guests inside and 85 if the outside patio is used as a dining area though your group will then be split into two separate dining areas. Please keep in mind that with a group larger than 63 you may need to rent a tent from an outside source to cover the patio in order to seat everyone in the case of bad weather. The Café Buyout fee is $2,000 for the months of mid-September through mid-June (we do not host Café Buyouts mid-June through mid-September).

Additionally, catering costs start at $50 per person and go up depending on your menu selection.

Book the Whole Resort

Full Resort Rentals may take place all year round. There is a site fee for exclusivity of the resort. The Full Resort Package requires a two night minimum rental of all accommodations. Guests generally book their own rooms. Any space that is occupied will be charged the applicable nightly rate.

The site fee does not cover the cost of occupied accommodations, but it does cover the spaces left vacant. This is why the site fee for a Full Resort Rental varies depending on the group size

Under 100 guests (only mid-September through mid-June)– Site fee $7,000

100-150 guests – Site fee $6,500

150-200 guests – Site fee $5,500

Site fee will be finalized closer to event date when RSVP’s have been confirmed with the Chef.

The site fee allows you to erect a party tent and hold your celebration on the waterfront as well as exclusive use of the spa and yoga studio with no additional fees until check out at 11am. The Café will close during your primary catered event to place full attention on your reception but will remain open to the public during all other regular hours of operation.

Please note: No outside catering is permitted, except for multi-tiered wedding cakes. A $100 cake cutting and service fee applies.
